StudioKing aims for WCAG 2.2 level AA in every view, and tests for it on every release.
How we test
- Automated axe-core scans for WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 A and AA rules on every view, dialog and overlay, in real Chrome, at desktop and phone sizes, before every release.
- Scripted keyboard paths: the background grid moves with the arrow keys, dialogs trap focus and return it, and Escape closes what is open.
- Layout sweeps for horizontal scrolling from 320 pixels wide upward.
What is built in
- A skip link, one heading structure per view, and labelled controls throughout.
- Every moving background can be paused, and reduced motion settings show still frames everywhere, including live shaders.
- Text-on-background contrast is measured in the studio and shown as an AA or AAA grade.
- Forced colours mode is respected for selected states and brand text.
Known limits
- Background previews are decorative; their names and palettes are announced, the images themselves are not described.
- Colour pickers use your browser's built-in control; every colour can also be typed as a hex value.
